Bollywood’s romantic hero had to don prosthetic make up for 8 to 10 hours a day without a break, during the shooting of his ambitious project Ra.One. During those strenuous make-up hours, SRK couldn’t even drink or eat. The make-up cast applied on the star was very delicate and if taken off, it would take hours for the artists to paste it again.
20 something PeeCee stunned everyone when she appeared as a 65 years old woman in Saat Khoon Maaf. Make-up artists from Drag Studio was called to work on Priyanka’s look. It took five long hours for the make up to get right, which would usually begin at some wee hour in the morning. During the make up session, PeeCee wasn’t allowed to eat or drink anything for hours.
In her Indo-Chinese venture titled ‘ Desire’, Shilpa went de-glam and bald, undergoing four hours of prosthetic makeup everyday. Leave eating and drinking, the actress was not even allowed to talk while her make up was going on, as it would displaces the pieces over the contours of the face.
It was unbelievable to watch the 68-year old vetran actor as a 12 year old boy who looks 65. It too four to five hours daily for Amitabh Bachchan’s makeup to be done and then then two hours to remove it.
