Salman Khan known for his generous and helpful nature, is at it again. This time it’s for Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj.
According to reports, Bollywood showman Subhash Ghai has sold the rights of Hero (1983) to Salman Khan. Salman has now taken up the responsibility of remaking the musical blockbuster which will feature newcomers Athiya and Sooraj.
The director has not been finalised yet but Salman has already approached Subah Ghai’s to help him in the composing of the music.
“Salman has requested Subhashji to help with the music. He has always been a fan of his musical hits Karz, Karma and Khalnayak,” revealed a source to The Times of India.
The news of the newcomer Athiya becoming a part of the film was confirmed by Suniel Shetty. The 18-year old has studied filmmaking and liberal arts from New York Film Academy and has been in the news for her possible launch for a long time now.
Sooraj started his career as an assistant to Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the movie, ‘Guzaarish’ and Kabir Khan in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. He looked very promising and hence Salman took notice of him.
The shooting of the movie is apparently scheduled to begin after Subhash Ghai is done with the production work of ‘Kaanchi’.
