Producer TP Aggarwal who wrapped him shooting for Policegiri which stars Sanjay Dutt, says Sanjay’s wife Manyata ‘might step in’ to promote the movie but also insisted that it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
“We have not decided how to promote the film. Manyata may step in, but I can’t confirm on that. I will have a meeting with Sanjay before we decide anything,” Aggarwal said.
“Sanjay has finished the shooting a few days back. He has even finished the dubbing, so the film is ready,” he added.
Sanjay Dutt wanted the court to review his case and grant him relief. But the Supreme court has rejected his review petition and is expected to surrender on May 16.
The actor’s case under the Arms Act in 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts was upheld by the Supreme Court.
Supreme Court has reduced Sanjay Dutt’s six year jail sentence to five years. This means that Sanjay will have to serve his remaining three-and-half-year term.
