Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’ helps mankind

What can we say about Salman Khan? We always knew he had a very big heart and always helped his co-stars and those around him. But this time Salman has taken being kindhearted to a whole new level. Salman has now comes to the rescue of the thousands of farmers in Maharashtra.

His Being Human Foundation has taken up the task to ensure that the drought-hit villages in Marathwada district will never face water shortage ever again. On Tuesday, his Being Human foundation provided 2,500 water tankers to the drought-affected districts. The tankers are believed to have a storage capacity of 2,000 litre each. The NGO supplied 750 water tankers to Beed, 500 each to Osmanabad and Jalna, and 250 each to Aurangabad and Nanded.

Salman was in touch with the Chief Minister’s Office and learnt that water tanks are being sent to the villages but the farmers didn’t have any facility to store water. After research and talks with experts, he found that the drought situation was not so much for lack of water. Water was only a problem for six months of the year. Who does that?

This man just gets amazing each day!
