John Abraham says he has really worked hard for his role as as gangster Manya Surve in Shootout At Wadala. He also says that it’s his best performance so far. Aiming high and dreaming big he also adds that his performance is worth a National Award.
Actor turned producer John Abraham made his debut as a producer with Vicky Donor. The movie won three National Awards and John feels that his performance in Shootout At Wadala is one of his best. He further adds that it would be great if his work is lauded with the prestigious honour too.
He portrays the character of real life gangster Manya Surve in the movie. At the music launch of the movie the actor said, “This is one of the best performances of my career. I hope to get the appreciation – critically and commercially, and if I get the National Award, then that will be great,”. He later added “Right now we are just thinking about success and performance, so let’s hope for the best, For me, ‘Shootout At Wadala’ is a completely different film. Audiences are going to be shocked seeing me in this film, in this role,”
