Check out the compiled cover of Tum Hi Ho, by 6 YouTube artist. These 6 guys entered the Aashiqui 2 cover contest and won. After listening to their individual covers, I now know why they all won. Listen to this cover and do listen to their individual covers and believe me when I tell you, some of these covers are way better than the original song.
Wow. Jay Mo’s cover with English wordings is just fantastic! The way his voice echos is mind blowing. You can make me happy when the skies are grey.. you are my esctacy.. you complete me. The rap didn’t fit in well but over all the song was fantastic!
Another mind blowing cover by young the YouTube artist, Sameer Chaturvedi. His music background is very different from the original one. It comes with a hint of rain in the background making the song even more better.
Loud and clear! That’s the first thing that comes to my mind when I listen to this fantastic cover by Mritunjay Kumar. Mr Kumar did a very good job on the song but the video was a bit too dramatic for a cover.
No offense to the young lady but I feel her voice over powers the background music. Her tone being a bit too sharp at the edges changes the tune of her song. But if you look at it from a differnt point of view, it indeed is a very good cover.
Brownie points to the Shahzeb and Talha duo for pronouncing the words right! Finally someone got the pronunciation of aashiqui right! Unlike Arijit Singh, the original singer of Tum hi Ho. He ruined the song for me by pronouncing it as aashiki and not aashiqui!
He nailed the song in the first few seconds itself! The amazing rhythm of his guitar captured the essence of the song with perfection.
