Supreme court gives 4 weeks to Sanjay Dutt for surrender

Sanjay Dutt who was recently sentenced to jail for 3 more years by supreme court was given 4 more weeks of time to surrender. Sanjay Dutt has already served 18 months of his 5 year prison time after he was accused of illegal possession of arms. He appealed for a bail in supreme court which was approved, but then due to lack of strong alibis Sanjay Dutt had to go back to jail in order to finish his 5 year sentence.

Sanjay Dutt recently pleaded supreme court to give 6 more months time to surrender, but they gave him only 4 weeks starting from 18th of April.  Meanwhile Sanjay Dutt is in the hurry to complete his pending projects ‘Peekay’, ‘Zanjeer’ and ‘Policegiri’. He already finished the shoot of Zanjeer and started dubbing for it. He needs to spare 8 more days to finish off ‘Peekay’, Rajkumar Hirani urged Aamir Khan to re-schedule his Dhoom-3′s shooting in order to finish Sanjay Dutt’s episodes. Even ‘Policegiri’ is in the final stages where it needs 3 more days of Sanjay’s presence.

Sanjay Dutt had to surrender to supreme court on 14th of May or else there is chance of taking severe actions of him which may result in increase of sentence time. But it is a good news for the producers of all the 3 films that they are not going to loose anything because of Sanjay Dutt.
