Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to remake another southern Hit

Actor Akshay Kumar who was in poor form in terms of spinning the money at box-office revived his magic at box-office through ‘Rowdy Rathore’, which was remake of south blockbuster ‘Vikramarkudu’. Now he is all set to re-make one more southern movie named ‘Ramana’ which starred VijayKanth and was directed by A.R.Muragadoss. “Ramana’ was a blockbuster in Tamil and was remade in Telugu as ‘Tagore’ which starred Megastar ‘Chiranjeevi’. The movie has all the ingredients to be remade in Hindi too, it’s concept is very new with respect to Bollywood where it focuses on corruption in India.

The movie is going to be titled ‘Gabbar’. Official confirmation if title is not yet out but reliable sources said that producers are mostly likely going to zero on ‘Gabbar’.

The movie will be produced by Sanjay Leela bhansali and Sabhina Khan who produced ’Rowdy Rathore’ too. Young Telugu director Krish (Radha Krishna) is going to make his directorial debut in Bollywood through this movie. Krrish is known for his thought provoking movies in Telugu, he won many awards locally and won lot of praises from veterans. Directing Akshay Kumar will be a huge thing for him.

‘Gabbar’ will go on to the floors in august and will be released in summer of 2014. Lets see if this Akshay Kumar starrer will become even more bigger hit than the Tamil and Telugu versions.
