Sanjay Dutt pleads six more months to surrender

Sanjay Dutt is a very busy man these days. The actor is busy wrapping up all his projects before he surrenders on April 18. It is heard that, Dutt needs another week to finish shooting for ‘PK’. He has moved the Supreme Court asking for a few more months before he is sent to jail. Sanjay Dutt has to surrender on or before April 18.

Director Rajkumar Hirani confirms, “Yes, about eight days of shooting is left with Sanjay Dutt.”

A source says, the director has requested Aamir Khan, who is busy shooting for Dhoom 3, to join Sanjay Dutt for ‘PK’.

The film also features Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput.

Reports state that Sanjay’s case on extending his surrender date, will be heard today.

The actor was sentenced to five years in jail for illegal arms possession during the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts. He has already served one-and-half years of imprisonment, he still has three-and-half years more.

Currently, Dutt is filming for Raju Hirani’s ‘P.K.’ and simultaneously dubbing for T P Agarwal’s ‘Policegiri’. The actor also has to join Emraan Hashmi Dutt for Karan Johar’s ‘Unglee’, which he plans to do this week.

Says a source, “Emran has sacrificed his promotion dates of ‘Ek Thi Daayan to help Dutt complete ‘Unglee’.”
