Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan starrer ‘Ghanchakkar’ has already grabbed fair amount of attraction with its interesting theatrical trailer. Now makers of the movie are coming up with another interesting promotional campaign which involves a real treasure hunt for the cash of 1 lakh rupees.
A source associated to Ghanchakkar told “As part of the game, they will hide the money in 16 cities across India. Like any other treasure hunt, contestants will be given clues to find it. The winner will get to take home the prize money in cash.”
This is a very good promotional strategy by UTV, as the treasure hunt is being conducted in 16 cities even the promotional scale for the movie will broaden and in turn creates huge hype.
After creating the curiosity about the movie among the audience with an interesting trailer, UTV’s idea of treasure hunt is an amazing one. The movie will for sure gather huge openings all over India.
Ghanchakkar is being directed by RajKumar Gupta who has previously directed critically acclaimed No One Killed Jessica and Aamir.
