Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is creating ripples in the B-town with its exceptional music and promotions. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone being pared up for the first time after their break up has been another x-factor for movie’s hype. But interesting fact is revealed by Ranbir Kapoor about how Ayan Mukherjee removed the fear out of him while shooting some of the risky shots.
Apparently Ranbir Kapoor is an acrophobic where he is afraid of heights. During the shooting of the film there were lot of incidents where Ranbir had to stand on the edge of tall cliffs and buildings. He could only manage to stand still because of Ayan’s encouragement.
A reliable source said “In Manali, while shooting a song sequence, Ayan convinced both the actors to stand at the peak of a mountain surrounded by air that had very little oxygen. In the south of France, Ayan convinced Ranbir to jump into the sea. Ranbir is terrified of water and doesn’t even know how to swim but still the shoot went smoothly.”
Ayan who is very happy about pulling off this tedious task of encouraging Ranbir said “I think the desire to torture one another is mutual when it comes to Ranbir and me. I get a weird kick from getting him to do stuff he really doesn’t want to. The only way he got back at me was by insisting I do all of it before he did the same for the shot.”
