Check out Nautanki Saala Playlist

Nautanki Saala is an upcoming movie starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Pooja Salvi, The movie is directed by Rohan Sippy. All the previous films directed by him have always had good music. This film has Mikey McCleary, Falak Kabir, Anand Milind, Laxmikant – Pyarelal,Rochak Kohli & Ayushmann Khurrana scoring music for this film.

Songs :

  1. The album starts with “Mera mann Kehne laga” is a romantic melody number. Sung and composed by Pakistan artist Falak Shabir. With soft music from the instruments and smooth vocals of the singer make this song truly a remarkable composition. The album has a reprised version sung by Falak again. In this he has changed the way he sings and musical arrangement has also changed. This also is very good.
  2. Next up is “Saadi Galli Aaja” sung and composed by Ayushman Khurrana. In this song Ayushman shows his  versatility as the song his very different from his last composition   The singer is accompanied by Neeti Mohan who has sung equally well. It has beautiful punjabi lyrics penned by Kausar Muneer. Ayushman has also sang unplugged version of this song. This version too is very appealing to ears.
  3. “Dhak Dhak” is the next song up. Saba Azad, the singer does justice to this remade version of Madhuri’s “Dhak Dhak Karne Laga” of Beta film. The original composer of the track are Anand- Milind. The song was reinvented by Mickey McCleary.
  4. Ayushman Khurrana has the next song too. The song is titled “Tu Hi Tu”. Mickey has created a magic with this track. Ayushman Khurrana has sung this romantic ballad to perfection. It is well complimented by simple impactful lyrics.
  5. “Dramebaaz” sung by X-factor India winner Geet Sagar is a situational song in the film. Kausar Muneer’s lyrics are apt for this joyful funny song.
  6. Rahet Fateh Ali Khan takes the mic for the new song “Sapna Mera Toota”. As the name of the song suggests it is sad soulful number and one can’t           question Rahet Fateh Ali Khan style in this genre.
  7. Saba Azad comes back for the track “Dil Ki Toh Lag Gayi”. Lyrics of this song are the highlight. It is funny and quircky way of telling about girls and heartbreaks.
  8. “So Gaya Yeh Jahan” is another old song, reinvented by Mickey McCleary. It is sung by Nitin Mukesh. The song has been arranged very beautifully. I never thought the song from Tezaab would sound like this.

The album is very good. The movie goers will surely enjoy the songs in it.  Mera Mann Kehne Laga, Saadi Galli Aaja, Dil Ki Toh Lag Gayi and So Gaya Yeh Jahaan are the songs that are going into my playlist.
