Konkona Sen Sharma, who has a two-year-old son Haroon, says motherhood has not changed her as a person but she believes the experience can add to her skills as an actor.
“I hope so, it’s always good to improve. I don’t think motherhood has really changed me, as as a person I still have the same likes, dislikes, values etc. May be with the realm of new experiences it will add to my acting skills,” the 33-year-old said here Wednesday at the launch of book “Daayan.”
Written by Ved Prakash Sharma, “Daayan” has been launched for the promotion of “Ek Thi Daayan,” a horror flick by Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj.
When asked if shooting for “Ek Thi Daayan” gave her sleepless nights, she said, “I have had sleepless night but it is more because of my child than because of the film. I have to say when you haven’t slept well your mind is a little fragile and all sorts of things go on.”
Konkona Sen says shooting for a horror film is not scary.
“I can scare myself easily but luckily when you are shooting then the atmosphere is such that it is not very scary. There are people around, you can see everything,” Konkona said.
Directed by Kannan Iyer, “Ek Thi Daayan” also stars Emraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi, Kalki Koechlin and hits theatres April 18.
