Bombay Talkies is all set to pay homage to Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan, who is one of the super-stars of Bollywood who never hesitates to act in an off-beat movie once in a while, is now going to act in the movie “Bombay Talkies”. As we all know “Bombay Talkies” has already completed shooting, but exclusively for Aamir Khan to be there in the movie a special segment will be added.

This initiative has been taken mainly because makers of the movie wanted Aamir Khan to be there in “Bombay Talkies” which is being released to celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema considering the contribution of Aamir Khan towards the Indian cinema the makers want to pay homage to him by featuring him in the movie.

However, there is no official confirmation form Aamir Khan as of now but the confirmation will be made soon once Aamir Khan returns from the Dhoom-3’s shoot which is happening in Switzerland.

“Bombay Talkies” is being directed by four directors, Zoya Aktar, Anurag kashyap, Dibaker Benerjee, Karan Johar and is all set to release on 5th of may on the occassion of Bollywood’s 100th anniversary since its inception in 1913. The first talkie movie in Bollywood “Raja Harishchandra” came in 1913 which was a mute movie with no sound whatsoever and from then Bollywood has produced thousands of films and Aamir Khan’s “Lagaan” is one of the 3 movies that got nominated for the oscars.
