Actor Akshay Kumar has become the highest tax payer of the year from Bollywood for the 6th time in a row. Akshay Kumar who has been in exceptional form in terms of delivering the super-hit movies like Rowdy Rathore, Housefull-2, and Special-26 has paid the tax amount of whooping 20 crores for the year 2012.

After the release of lists a trade pundit said “No one will talk about these things openly, but the advance income tax payer list has thrown up a few surprises this year. For the past couple of years, Salman’s films have been blockbusters at the box office, but Akshay remains way ahead of the pack in terms of his tax payment,”

The statement looks controversial but is absolutely true. This may blow alarms in the income tax department to initiate the sudden raids up on these celebrities.

On the other hand, Mr.Khiladi is not only paying the highest amount of tax but also helping the society a lot through his philanthropic activities where he is taking care of 4 families to help their kids excel in the sports and he also donated Rs.1.5 core to a cancer society in Mumbai.

Akshay Kumar is followed by Salman Khan who paid 12 crores, Shahrukh Khan – 10.5 crores, Aamir Khan – 8 crores. Among the actresses Katrina Kaif leads the list by paying 4.5 cores followed by Kareena kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
