Once again, Saif Ali Khan makes headlines for wrong reasons.
The actor got into a tiff with a CISF personnel at the Lucknow airport, when he was asked to vacate the VIP lounge.
Saif Ali Khan was not in the list of VIPs entitled to the facility, despite holding an executive class boarding pass, and so he was asked to leave the place. This didn’t go down well with the actor and he got into a heated argument with the airport authorities.
“When the actor refused to move out and tried to throw around his weight, he was forcibly evicted from the lounge,” said an airport source.
Saif was in Lucknow to shoot Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming directorial Bullet Raja. He was to catch a flight to New Delhi that evening and so on reaching the airport, he waited in the VIP lounge which was actually meant for senior politicians.
Despite all the hungama that was created by the actor, he was forced to wait in the open area like any other traveller. He later boarded a Jet Airways flight.
Saif remained unavailable for comments.
Earlier too actor Abhishek Bachchan had been denied entry in the VIP lounge and like Saif, he too had to wait with the regular passengers.
