National award scares yet humbles Parineeti Chopra

The young and vivacious Parineeti Chopra is in a state of shock as well as surprised at the same time. Basically, the actress is undergoing mixed emotions after earning a special mention for her awesome performance in Ishaqzaade, at the 60th National Film Awards. Parineeti, who is on cloud 9 says, she is both humbled and scared.

The happy-go-lucky actress said on her win, “After winning so many debut awards I never thought I would win for ISHAQZAADE but when I did, it was the biggest one in the country!! That too for my first lead role! I just cannot believe it. But this scares and humbles me, and will definitely make me work even harder in the future!! Thank you jury.”

Parineeti Chopra made her Bollywood debut with Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl. Her chulbuli role in the film won her several applauds and there after she made a place in every filmmakers wishlist.

Ishaqzaade got her her first lead role opposite debutante Arjun Kapoor. Parineeti got a special mention for her daredevil character she portrayed in the moving drama of love and tragedy.

Congratulations Parineeti! You have finally earned your own identity. Now, there is no turning back from here.
