We all know that Katrina Kaif has been advertising for the soft drink brand, Slice since 2008. Now this time we have Shahrukh Khan, who has been roped in to promote Frooti.
Considering the fact that both brands are rivals and competitors, will Katrina be worried about the competition she will have to face? The answer is No.
The starlet believes in taking competition in the right spirit and says “I think they are very different brands, and I see them as having different messages in terms of their marketing. Everything you do in the market will have opponents, that is why the competition is so high,”. She also added that “Today, the consumer feels they deserve the best, and that’s why there’s so much advertising and marketing for each product. But at the end of the day, the choice is with the consumer,”
Since Katrina showcased her seductive side in the previous Slice commercial and a playful side in the new commercial, Frooti has Shahrukh Khan playing with the kids. Now why would they do that? Apparently the Frooti commercial is an answer to brands which are “busy wooing viewers with seductive commercials”. Well well, after such a strong statement from Parle Agro, we hope Katrina doesn’t change her views on competition.
