Former ex-lovers Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are all set to clash at the box office later this year.
August 23 will see Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Satyagraha’ and Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’, hitting theaters. This wasn’t planned. Kareena’s film was set to release on August 15. However, director Prakash Jha, due to unknown reasons, postponed the film’s release date to a week later.
Informs a source, “Shahid’s Phata Poster Nikla Hero would now be clashing with Kareena’s Satyagraha. This wasn’t a planned move at all and has caught everyone by surprise.”
Buzz has it that the main reason Prakash Jha moved the film to August 23 is because he wanted to avoid clashes with Subhash Ghai’s film Kaanchi, set to release on Aug 15.
Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor last film together was Milenge Milenge. Post that, the two have always avoided each other in public. However, they have never bad mouthed each other and are well wishers for each other.
The source continues, “Kareena and Shahid have always wished each other luck. They are cordial to each other.”
We miss the lovely jodi and hope to see them together on screen someday.
