If all goes well, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar will team up for an ambitious project. This will be the first time the two would be coming together, despite the fact that the duo have been in the film industry for more than a decade.

The film is said to be directed by Punit Malhotra and will go on floors by February next year. Presently, the director is working with Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor on the film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, which he will hopefully wrap up by end of this year.

Coming back to the KJO project, it is learnt that the film will see two heroes, one of which is Akshay. The actress is yet to be finalized. Buzz is that the story is about two men fighting for justice.

Confirming the news, Karan said, “Yes, this is true. It’s going to be a two-hero film which Akshay and I will co-produce and it will start in February 2014.”

Though the project has been confirmed by Karan, he is reluctant to give out any further info about the film. However, one this is known that the fim will be co-produced by Akshay Kumar’s Hari Om Productions and Karan Johar’s Dharma Production.
