Superstar Salman Khan was the guest of honor at the third edition of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), which began on Saturday, in Kochi. Salman revealed that next year, he will definitely join the team. The actor was also happy with the fact that despite being very busy, the actors were performing well.
Salman said, “I may play next year. The disadvantage with actors is that we are very busy. We have very long hours of work. In spite of all this, they are playing well. This is because cricket is their first love.”
The 47-year-old also revealed that he will travel with the team to different venues.
He added, “It is a good thing that people are getting hooked on to this. It is great that actors are playing good cricket. It is a good combination of acting and cricket,” said the actor.
Salman Khan will soon be taking a long-delayed trip abroad for his treatment. He is suffering from trigeminal neuralgia and aneurysm. He had earlier cancelled his trip because of the blackbuck poaching case in court.
Meanwhile, The unveiling ceremony was followed by the toss between Mumbai Heroes headed by Sunil Shetty and Kerala Strikers headed by South superstar Mohanlal. The toss was won by Mumbai Heroes, who decided to bat.
The Mumbai Heroes include Bollywood actors Sohail Khan, Aftab Shivdasani and Sonu Sood, among others.
