Sonakshi Sinha to do a movie down south

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is all set for her Tollywood debut. The Dabangg girl after a series of Bollywood hits will now be seen in a Tollywood movie. The movie is to be directed by the great Tollywood director, Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi. Also known as Krish, the director has given several hits like Vedam, Vaanam, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum.

Sonakshi Sinha will be paired with Tollywood chocolate boy Mahesh Babu and the movie is titled as Shivam. Rumoured to be a period movie the film will start the shooting later this year. Confirming the rumours about the movie, the actress tweeted “Wow! Lots of support from the south for my telegu debut – thanks guys!! Really looking forward to it… Feels like dabangg dejavu – debut with superstar, script I couldnt refuse, capable and intelligent director! Shoot starts later this year.. it’s going to be a great journey :)”

All is well for Sonakshi so far. In a recent Times interview, when Sonakshi was questioned if she was uncomfortable locking lips with Imraan Khan for Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2, Sonakshi said “Yes, I am not comfortable kissing or exposing and I believe in laying open my cards well in advance so that no one is inconvenienced. Till date, I have been very specific about certain things and my directors have always understood my concerns and played along. I don’t think this should pose a problem in the future as well. And if a director wants something like that, he is open to casting other actresses.”
