Vidya Balan is one professional actress Bollywood has discovered. Leave alone films, the actress recently said, she is open to doing bold roles on screen too.

The actress is happily married to UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur and says, marriage will not affect her work. Vidya is open to intimate scenes and even liplock, even now.

“I am an actor and I am married are two different things. Both of us (Siddharth and I) respect each other and our work,” Vidya said. The actress was at the wrap-up party of her upcoming film Ghanchakkar with Emraan Hashmi.

Also describing her role in her upcoming film Ghanchakkar, Vidya said, “My character is loud, boisterous and she feels she knows everything. She wears her heart on her sleeve. It is the first time that I am attempting something like this.”

The 33-year-old actress has yet again won the black lady, the Filmfare award for her performance in Kahaani and waiting eagerly for Kahaani 2 script.

“Ask Sujoy, I am very excited to know which ‘Kahaani’ he has written. So, let’s see,” Vidya Balan said.

Meanwhile, the comedy flick Ghanchakkar, directed by Rajkumar Gupta will release on June 21. This is Vidya’s first film after marriage.
