Abhishek Bachchan had a decent 2012. If players didn’t work out for him, Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan worked wonders for him. And not too long ago, the actor was flooded with calls from people congratulating him for his extremely funny performance in the film.

And now, Abhishek is having a ball at most of the award functions bagging the awards for the ‘Best Actor in a comic Role’.

Abhishek took to twitter to thank Ajay and Rohit for believing in him and and considering him suitable for the role. He tweeted: “Just won Best Actor- Comedy for Bol Bachchan at the Big Star entertainment awards!!!! )))))Won because of the most awesome team that we had on the film. ALL the actors and technicians and AD’s. I share this award with them. And especially @ajaydevgn and Rohit. For their trust, faith and guidance. Would not have been possible without them #Brother4Life”

Adding another feather to his hat, Abhishek Bachchan then went on to bag the Comic Award at the Zee Cine Awards.

The actor apart from winning the award also played host alongside good friend and co-actor Riteish Deshmukh – On the occasion he said, “This year the Awards are returning to Mumbai and our effort will be to make the show entertaining for audiences worldwide.”

When Abhishek was asked about the way he feels after receiving so many compliments and appreciation, he said: “I think it’s not every day that your roles are appreciated. I am glad that mine was in Bol Bachchan, so now I just want to keep that going.”
