Bollywood’s best sequels in 2012!

In 2012, lot of directors banked in on their previous Bollywood projects by releasing their sequels. While some of them were good some were below average. So here are Bollywood’s best sequels in 2012.

Housefull 2

Akshay Kumar reprises his role in Housefull this time as a cool nerd. The sequel to the hit 2007 Housefull, the second part is even funnier and has better laughs. Probably one of the finest sequels, Housefull 2 also boasted of a much talented star cast than the previous one.

Dabangg 2

Salman Khan was back on the big screen as Chulbul Pandey once again. Dabangg 2 which release in December smashed all the records of the prequel. Also, it’s the highest grossing sequel in the history of Indian cinema. The cast was exactly the same except of Prakash Raj stepping into Sonu Sood’s shoes as the villain this time.

Jism 2

Jism which released in 2000 starred John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. The film was a career changing one for both the actors. Jism 2 stars Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda. Sunny’s acting wasn’t that great except of her skin show and Randeep was good. The movie was declared a hit at the Box Office.

Raaz 3

Vikram Bhatt returned back to direct Raaaz 3 after the first part. With his experience in the horror genre, people were expecting this one to be filled with spooks. The film lived up to the expectations and was a blockbuster within the first week of it’s release.

Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum

Kya Super Kool Hai Hum is the sequel of Kya Kool Hai Hum which also features Ritesh Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor. The film was criticized by the critics but got rave reviews from the viewers. The movie made a good amount of profit and was declared a hit.

    I have a doubt, at the end of the first Dabangg movie, wasn’t sonakshi pregnant? What happened to the kid in the second movie.
