It is a well known fact that Shahrukh Khan has always had that special liking for Priyanka Chopra. He had recently showered heaps of Praises on her, too. Latest reports state that SRK is very keen on working with PeeCee.
The actor has been romantically linked with Priyanka Chopra several times. Despite stories of their alleged affair, Shahrukh Khan has made up his mind to ignore everyone and go with his heart.
Buzz has it that the superstar wants to star in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year, opposite Priyanka.
Says a source,“Deepika, Katrina, Priyanka and Kareena were all in the reckoning.” adds the source. While Bebo is in no hurry to sign a new film, Anushka has no time. Deepika has already bagged Chennai Express with SRK, making PeeCee the default choice.
“With PeeCee trying hard to get a toe-hold in the Salman Khan camp, SRK tried his best to leverage his association with his Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-star Katrina (former ladylove of Salman Khan). But she stonewalled all his efforts.”
Farah Khan, talking about the film caste, “Happy New Year will go on the floors in April 2013 and we will announce the star cast in January next year. You may speculate if you want to, but I cannot disclose any name right now.”
Meanwhile, Farah Khan has apparently, managed to persuade SRK to rope in Shirish Kunder as editor for her film.
