Shahid Kapoor is very content with life and is in a very happy space right now. He says, his break up with Kareena Kapoor happened for a reason and that he wishes the actress all the best for her future.

According to a leading daily, Shahid’s relationship with Kareena turned sour over commitment issues. Shahid kapoor believes in commitment and according to him, one shouldn’t get into a relationship if he or she is not ready to commit.

Shahid said, “As for what went wrong between me and Kareena, I don’t want to comment on it. Everything happens for a reason; I am in a happy space and wish her all the best.”

Shahid Kapoor was also asked to comment on his relationship with Priyanka Chopra, to which he said, he has decided not to speak about his relationship status, ever since he broke up with Kareena. He also added, since two years he has repeatedly been saying that he is single, which in itself means he is not dating anyone.

Meanwhile, Shahid is back on the sets after nine months, shooting for Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Phata Poster Nikla Hero.

“It feels like I was on an extended vacation and now I am back to school,” Shahid admitted to a tabloid.
