Ranveer Singh, one Bollywood actor who is always bubbling with energy, injured himself while shooting a song for his film Gunday on Thursday afternoon.

The actor injured his face after falling from a height while shooting for a dance sequence. He apparently lost balance and came crashing down. It is heard that Ranveer’s cheek split open because of the sudden fall and so he was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was given a few stitches by the doctor and discharged.

A source told us, “Ranveer was performing his steps on an elevated structure, when he lost his balance and fell down. He hurt his back and suffered injuries on his face. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical aid, and the shoot was called off for the day.”

Despite the pain, Ranveer is not ready to alter his film schedule and will continue shooting as before.

Ranveer Singh’s spokesperson confirmed: “Ranveer injured himself slightly while shooting the song sequence whereby his cheek has a small gash and required a few stitches. However, Ranveer is perfectly fine and is continuing with the shoot schedules as per plan.”

Ranveer jokingly said, “Now I am even more in character for GUNDAY with his inimitable smile.”

Well, this is not the first time that Ranveer was injured on the film sets. Earlier in March, he had got injured while filming Lootera.

The first schedule of Gunday is completed. The film also stars Arjun Kapoor.
