Remember the rumors spread about Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra’s affair during the shooting of Don? well, it’s said that piggy chops became very close to Shahrukh Khan during that time. But when Shahrukh’s wife Gauri heard about this affair, she made sure that Priyanka never attended any of their functions or gatherings. However, Shahrukh and Priyanka never spoke about this neither did they accept it, they just decided to keep mum about the whole issue. But recently, Shahrukh Khan came out and revealed that Pee Cee is a close friend and one of the few people who is closest to his heart.
Shahrukh said: “(I) Feel extremely sorry, for she (Priyanka) wasn’t shown the respect I show her, or other women. Priyanka Chopra is one of the closest friends that I have, she is very close to my heart, and always will be.”
And back then it was none other than Shahrukh’s closest friend Karan Johar who accused Priyanka on the social platform Twitter. Maybe Shahrukh wasn’t too pleased with this and Karan later on confessed that he didn’t do the right thing. But Priyanka wasn’t even bothered and later on patched up with Karan on his birthday.
Hmmm… it seems that come what may Shahrukh will not give up his friendship with Piggy Chops!

This is a noble & respectable step that SRK has taken to defend Priyanka’s character after all of the abuse she has suffered over the past year at the hands of the media, SRK’s wife & her friends. If Gauri can have an unconditional friendship with Karan Johar, why can’t SRK & Priyanka? They were both outsiders in the industry & made it on their own talent, drive & hard work. The way they left Priyanka out of the Agneepath success party & other functions, ignored her & slandered her on Twitter was nothing short of bullying! Disgusting! Shame on all of them!

I don’t think so at all. He’s just being a MAN about it, stepping up & defending a good friend who didn’t deserve to be treated the way she was by his wife, his friends & the media! Period! He stayed silent for long enough. Priyanka suffered through all of that rejection alone, silently & with her head held high. Kudos to her.
