Jab Tak Hai Jaan makers release new song titled, ‘Heer’

The Shahrukh Khan starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan released a new song yesterday, featuring the three leads, Shahrukh, Katrina and Anushka. The song is titled ‘Heer’ and sees Katrina Kaif playing the guitar, remembering her days spent with Samar, SRK’s character in the film. The official announcement was made on various social networking sites on Nov. 6, 2012.

‘Heer’ is a soulful number, sung by Hrashdeep Kaur, with the heart wrenching lyrics by Gulzaar. The song literally carries you to the land of Punjab, all thanks to Rahman’s beautifully composed music.

The markers of the film, describing the song on YouTube, say,“Heer visits the world of everlasting love with a flawless rendition by the talented Harshdeep Kaur. The song evokes romantic emotions within oneself.”

Just a few hours post the song’s relesase, ‘Heer’ became the trending topic on Twitter and other social networking sites.
