Amitabh Bachchan was super nostalgic on his father’s birthday, which happened to be yesterday. Sharing a few personal thoughts with his fans, Big B wrote on Twitter,

“It is now the 27th of November – my Father’s birthday … all that I am came from his blessings and prayer.. My Father ..a giant literaturè, a giant human, a giant of a Father, a gentle personality. Father always had all the answers!”

Modestly the superstar said that his pa, late poet Pt. Harivansh Rai Bachchan, will be remembered forever, though he himself would be forgotten in the years to come.

“Each morning I stand before his and my Mother’s picture on the wall .. and seek their blessings !! Eternally will they be with me !! They shall forget me in a couple of days .. they shall remember my Father for a thousand years !!” Amitabh Bachchan wrote.

Recalling how his mother Teji Bachchan used to celebrate his dad’s birthday, the 70-year-old megastar added,
“7th November, a winter day each year, one that my Mother celebrated with all the abandon we could afford .. such vivid memories !!”

The superstar’s father always believed Big B)to be his incarnation.
“My Father described me as his ‘poetry’ in one of his writings. He always felt I was his Father’s reincarnation. Blessed !!”
