Anushka Sharma, who made her debut with YRF’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, will be seen in YRF’s next film Jab Tak Hai Jaan opposite Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The actress said that she is glad to be a part of Yash Chopra’s last film.
Anushka Sharma said: “I feel very happy and lucky to be a part of Yash Chopra’s last film and to have worked with Aditya in my first film.”
She was in Kolkata to promote JTHJ, at the Kolkata International Film Festival, which started on Saturday.
Speaking about working with late Yash Chopra, Anushka said, “Every morning I would come to the set and see Yash ji standing there beside the camera, getting ready for the first shot. That used to create an excitement in me. That was one my cherished memories of him.”
Anushka Sharma proved her acting skills with “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” and “Band Baaja Baraat” for which she received Filmfare’s Best Supporting Actress award.
While talking about the theme of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Anushka said, “It is a love triangle that gives a sense of hope. So everyone should go and watch it.”
Anushka Sharma will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Matru Ki Bijilee Ka Mandola’ opposite Imran Khan.
