Bollywood movies which were disasters in 2012!

A lot of Bollywood movies have been a disaster this year. While, some were expected to do bad, some of them looked very promising but failed miserably. Here’s a list of 5 movies that could’ve done better with a better script.

Joker

A lot of money was put into this one. Joker promised to be a treat as it had a completely unique story and was a family movie. But sadly, the acting, the script and the aliens were a total disappointment.

Heroine

Even after all the hype surrounding the film, it failed to deliver. Kareena Kapoor said that she gave her best for the movie, but even her ‘best’ couldn’t save this one.

Aiyya

God knows what the producer was thinking when he gave a nod to Aiyya. Even though Rani displays her best acting and dancing skills, the film is a total disappointment.

Players

An official adaptation of The Italian Job, this was one of the biggest duds to hit the marquee this year. The director went over board with the twist and turns in the movie.

Teri Meri Kahani

TMK was supposed to be a blockbuster but instead it turned out to be the most boring movie of the year. The film was a total drag and Shahid and Priyanka couldn’t do anything to save this one.

  1. While Kareena Kapoor did a good job playing an unstable actress in Heroine, the movie is a major letdown thanks to Madhur Bhandarkar’s terrible, TERRIBLE story-telling. This could have been so good had there been some actual plot. Until now, I still don’t understand. Was Mahi Arora a A-list actress on the way down or a B-list actress on the way out? And then she finally has a solo hit called “Annie” and she walks away??? What? There was a movie made a few years ago calledy Koya Koya Chand about the “old” film industry which was far more interesting. There is nothing cohesive to this story. It feels like scenes were just edited together haphazardly to try and make a movie. 32 Crores?? Somebody got majorly ripped off in making this steaming pile. Aishwarya should feel good for dodging this bullet.

  2. Poor Rani, WTF happened to her career??? She was a force to be reckoned with back in the early 2000′s & then lost it all after her fans found out she was a home-wrecker! All that aside though, she’s an amazing actress. I hope she makes a comeback.

  3. Heroine was made on a budget of 32 crores & only earned 33 crores at the box office. This, along with the fact that it starred the forever narcissistic Kareena Kapoor, is the reason why it was a disaster!
