Rumors surrounding the much anticipated flick Talaash have finally been put to rest. Since the promos of the film, something or the other has caused a problem for the film, and now the latest rumors a few days back surrounding the Aamir Khan starrer was that the film has been inspired from the publicized Aarushi murder case.

In an interview, producer of the film Ritesh Sidhwani denied any such reports of the thriller going through the legal proceedings of the criminal act to copy it in the film. He said: “We, at Excel Entertainment, are disturbed by irresponsible media reports saying that we had pursued the details of the Aarushi murder investigation to aid the making of our film. Our film is a work of fiction that bears no resemblance to the Aarushi case. We do not believe in exploiting other people’s tragedies. The story was misguided and in very bad taste. We urge everyone to ignore it.”
