Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming romance drama Milan Talkies will have Priyanka Chopra play the lead heroine opposite Imran Khan. It is heard that PeeCee has replaced Sonakshi Sinha, who was the filmmakers original choice.

It is heard that Priyanka instantly said yes to working with Imran Khan and also liked the script very much.

Said a source, “Priyanka loved the subject and wanted to work with Tigmanshu.”

However, Tanuj Garg, the CEO of producers Balaji Motion Pictures, said Priyanka is not yet confirmed for the film and that they are in talks with an actress and will reveal the name soon. He also said that Sonakshi Sinha was never signed for the film.

Milan Talkies is a pure love story, set in a small town of UP. Tigmanshu said in an interview, “The crux of the story is that though the communication has become easy thanks to mobile phones and everything, it is still very difficult to fall in love in small towns.”
