The first trailer of Barfi wowed us and now the makers of the film are out with their first song titled,‘Ala Barfi’.

As reported earlier, Ranbir’s character is that of a deaf and mute boy, named Murphy. He calls himself Barfi because he finds it difficult to distinguish between the sound of ‘B’ and ‘M’. Now Barfi is a pure bundle of joy, despite being physically challenged.

Barfi is potrayed as a mischievous yet adorable guy, a total prankster, who takes every situation in his stride. His bitter-sweet relationship with Shruti (Ileana) and Jhilmil (Priyanka) sets in motion a chain of events that turns his life upside down.

Ala Barfi! has been sung by Ranbir Kapoor’s famous onscreen voice, Mohit Chauhan and set to music by Pritam.

The film is directed by Anurag Basu and is a light-hearted comedy and a touching love story.

‘Barfi’ is slated to release on September 14.
