We had reported earlier that Kareena Kapoor was asked to walk out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Ram Leela”, following her wedding news. However, now, reports have it that the director, unable to find his desi Juliet, has asked Kareena to come back. The film feature Ranveer Singh the in lead.

Buzz had it that Priyanka Chopra was to replace Kareena. But since PC is more on the dusky side and a lighter skin actress was required to play Leela, Katrina Kaif was approached. However, Kats could not accommodate dates and so, Bansali went on to sing Deepika Padukone, a week ago.

Says a source close to the film, Bhansali had to change his mind as he thought only Kareena could do full justice to the role.
“He was not too sure about Deepika essaying the role. Even after auditions he felt she was not apt for it. He did toy with the idea of launching a new face but later felt that Kareena suited the character best. He eventually went back to her,” a source said.

Will Kareena Kapoor agree to come back??

According to a source, Kareena was more than happy to make a come back and this time, Bhansali has no qualms about her terms and conditions.

“She knew she was the original choice, after all. She agreed to be part of it again on her terms and conditions,” says the source.
