And the controversies surrounding Jism2 still continue, the latest one being protests at a local cinema hall in Assam where a section of the audience were chased and abused.
The police said that these protests involved a lot of local organisations and student bodies as well. The protests were carried on because the movie has a few objectionable scenes.
“We have taken action to ensure that such incidents do not recur,” police said.
Mousam Sarma, a spokesperson of the protesters said that though the movie is for adult viewing it is ‘surprising’ to see college students were being allowed inside the cinema.
Meanwhile Jism2 opened to a good start in a few major cities. It hit theaters on the 3rd August.
