Deepika Padukone is currently single and has no plans to mingle anytime soon. However, the Bangalore beauty is very clear about the kind of man she would want to share her life with, in the future.

The 26-year-old actress is not ready to get inked, oops! sorry, hitched for the second time after her much talked about break up with actor Ranbir Kapoor. So what’s Deepika’s idea of a perfect man???

Says Deepy to a popular tabloid, “I’ve reached a stage where there’s no man in my life, and I’m not looking for one. But when I do, I know that I just want something basic and simple: a regular guy with a regular job, who I can come home to. Men who are quietly confident are way more attractive than guys who try too hard.”

The Doe-eyed beauty also shared a few dating tips to her viewers.

She says, “It’s about making eye contact. You look at each other across the room, you know he’s looking at you, and you know you’re looking at him.”

Her latest hit flick Cocktail, had DP play a dark character, which she also happened to have discovered in herself.

“Everyone has a dark side, some people are aware of it and some accept it, some people fight it and some don’t even know it’s there, I’ve realised I have it.”

Talking about how her life has changed drastically since her initial days in the film industry, Ms Padukone says her life right now is like a dream and she loves what she’s doing.
