Ek Tha Tiger banned in Pakistan

The Pakistan censor board has banned the release of Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ in her country. The film was supposed to hit Pakistani theaters on the Eid weekend with 35 prints.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Breaking News: No release for #EkThaTiger in Pakistan.”

Reports have it that the reason for the film being banned in Pakistan is mainly because of its anti-Pakistan theme, where their powerful spy agency ISI is shown in bad light.

However, those who have watched the film says that the films theme is not anti-Pakistan but that of friendship between the two countries.

Director Kabir Khan is quoted to have said: “It is sad that a film promoting peace and friendship has fallen victim to politics.”

Back home, the film has seen a record breaking opening, collecting Rs 32.95 crore on its first day. ETT is said to have broken all the previous opening records.

  1. THE MAIN REASON FOR THE BAN IS,  THIS CRIMINAL BASTARDO IS A REAL BAD INFLUENCE FOR THE FUTURE GEN. SO THE BEST MEDICINE FOR THE HOUR IS TO AVOID THIS “FOREIGN” ELEMENT TO ENTER THE PAKISTAN TERRITORY!!
THEY ALSO SEE THAT HOW SOME FAGGOTS LIKE NAVEED @RAMBALRAM, HAS TURNED INTO A HUMAN ROTTEN FLESH BEING A SALMAN FAN!! OUCH!!!!

  2. THE STORY LINE IN THIS MOVIE IS FULL OF CRAP WITH PATHETIC ACTORS THE WORST BEING KATRINA THE HORSE WHO IS JUST A WASTE OF SPACE EVEN SALLU IS A WASTE OF SPACE IN SOME SCENES OVERRATING OVER ACTING BEING SILLY WITH HIS VOICE TONES .. INDIA HAS ITS OWN SHIT AND PAKISTAN ALSO HAS SHIT THAT HITS THE FAN BOTH COUNTRIES HAVE CITIZENS WHO BECOME SO HOME SICK ELSEWHERE SO THEY STICK THEIR HEADS DOWN THE TOILET GET A LIFE GUYS

    1. HA, HA, HA,HA, HA, I THOUGHT TAUBA KARO WAS OUR OLD DRAG QUEEN ZAVAH, BUT PLEASANTLY HE IS NOT, THAT’S A FUNNY GUY!! LOL!!!

P.S.: DON’T FRET AND FUME WHEN YOU SEE MY REPLY IN ASH POST!!! IT WAS A MISTAKEN IDENTITY!!

  3. It’s quite pathetic, lame & childish to drop sound bites like “hate & pity” rather than address the points I have raised or address the issue at hand. I for one believe that the border is of no consequence and that Pakistanis and Indians are one people. But the desperate role Indian cinema is playing in intensifying hate between Pakistan and India is disgraceful and Pakistan does not deserve it. Food for thought take to task the Indian film industry and push for positive films of India and Pakistan to be produced rather than turn a blind eye to hate propaganda because as I reiterated it will prove disastrous for India. Ignorance is never bliss!

  5. Another thing once India get’s rid of it’s cast system where people are classed as untouchables, women are no longer sold by there families, females are no longer killed at birth, women are not burn’t by their in-laws and all religions are given equal opportunities then Indians can talk about democracy. The last thing India can call itself is democratic.

    1. I honestly pity you. I pity a person who has so much hate towards anyone. Let bygones be bygones. Can we stop putting India and Pakistan against each other? Every country has its problems, but the biggest problem these two countries have is they can’t find a way to get along. Lets all concentrate on being the best person we can be rather than pointing fingers at anyone else.

      1. Reality check on the situation in the world where people are being murdered by false wars created by the lies and propaganda of the media. So the Indian film industry has a responsibility to stop carrying out the work of its masters and propping up India and Pakistan against each other because it effects the mentality of the average person on the street who lives in fear and thinks hate exists when it does not. Of course we would all like bygones to be bygones but when the Indian film industry throws out every other film on Pakistan bashing they are the ones who need to get over their inferiority complex and stop their war mongering agenda!

  6. At this time of the celebration of India’s independence Indian cinema’s obsession with demonising Pakistan just proves that India is still occupied by the West. It’s film industry is playing a dirty game by consistently portraying Pakistan and its people as terrorists. India is nothing but a slave of the West and it’s a shame that it has to stoop so low. India’s actions does nothing for peace between itself Pakistan moreso it’s films are used as propaganda tools which will lead to India’s undoing. The funny thing as we saw with Shilpa Shetty, Deena Upal and the Indian student shot dead in the UK we can see what the West really think of Indians. Fools !!!!!

  7. Ek Tha Tiger is a delightful and beautifully made new film from the YR wizards. It is a different brand romantic with high level of adrenaline action film taking place in exotic locations where many of us will never dream of visiting, No surprise there, YR films are renowned for their vivid locations.EK Tha Tiger is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get. However, when you watch this movie starring with Salman and Katrina, you know you are going to get a lot of laughs, enjoyments and even a few tears for those who get absorbed in the accolade of the film. The movie is well deserving of praise since the acting and the visual effects are extraordinary.Ek Tha Tiger is a favourite of mine. If you have had a bad day, it will lift your spirits. It will make everyone crack up. The humour isn’t dirty or repulsive; it’s clean and enjoyable. It is easy to relate to the characters as they struggle with issues many face. Pakistan, let it go. There is nothing derogatory about the movie. Show the world that you can be as democratic as expected.
