Last week, we had reported that the tickets prices for Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger will be a little more than the normal fare. Reports stated that there will be a hike in the proces by 12-16 percent. This news hasn’t gone down well with the Tiger (Salman Khan).
Salman Khan is not very happy about the rise in the ticket prices, and says that it should soon come down a few days post the film`s release i.e. Aug 15.
“I don`t think it (price hike) is right, but being Aug 15 and much hype around the film, the prices have been increased. Moreover, the film is coming out after a year. I don`t know what to say on this, I can`t do anything about it,” Salman told reporters.
“I think it (price rise of tickets) is there for three days or so, then eventually the prices will come down,” he added.
This hike will be maintained by multiplexes and not small screens.
Talking to a website, Salman Khan said, “As much as I think that it is not the right thing to do, I can’t do anything about it. I know the difference is only about twenty or thirty odd rupees, and it will not make much of a difference. But given a choice, I would like to make the film more accessible to everyone.”
What do you think, will the price hike stop Salman Khan’s fans from watching Ek Tha Tiger??
