On Tuesday, superstar Shahrukh Khan launched the music and third poster of “Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi”, which stars choreographer-director Farah Khan, making her debut as an actor and Boman Irani, in the lead. At the launch, SRK couldn’t stop praising Farah.
He said:“She is one of the most finest and talented director we have with us. I thank Farah for giving me some nicest moment in her films.”
The poster sees Farah Khan and Boman Irani posing as Raj and Simran of “Dilwale Dhulaniya Le Jayenge”, thus trying to recreate the films magic.
However, SRK disapproves of it saying DDLJ was one of its kind and no one can ever recreate the films magic. He also adds that DDLJ is his most iconic romantic film of all time, “DDLJ”.
“I have seen spoofs of all movies created by others but I never thought one would ever think of making a spoof on ‘DDLJ’,” Shahrukh said
The event further moved on with the superstar shaking a leg with Boman and Farah Khan, with SRK playing Raj, Farah playing Simran and Boman playing Amrish Puri.
Directed by Bela Sehgal, “Shirin Farhad…” is a romantic-comedy of 40-plus couple – Boman and Farah.
“I think love can happen at any age…it has no age. There is no right time and right place for love…it can happen any time,” Shahrukh said.
“We have seen love stories made with young teenagers but this one is different. I have seen the posters and promo of this film and I really loved it. It is a marvellous love story. I am sure this film will rock. I am sure people will connect with this film,” he added.
“Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi” will release Aug 24.
