Director Tarun Mansukhani has become a known name after assisting KJo in 1998 with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and debuting in 2008 with Dostana. After the recent reports of Tarun being asked to leave Dharma productions by Karan Johar, questions are being asked on whether Dostana 2 will even commence.

Unfortunately for Tarun it seemed that no one wanted anything to do or re-write the script, All these events led to Tarun becoming restless as Dostana 2 has been on hold for quite a few years now.

A source from the production house conveyed that..“Nothing was really moving forward. Probably, Tarun became restless with the endless ‘reworking’ of scripts. He started approaching other producers. Karan
found out and was very upset. He asked Tarun to leave Dharma”.

Apparently the reason for the delay of the movie is that Tarun and Karan’s thoughts regarding the script did not match as their differences were clashing.

Now will Karan find another director for the movie or will Tarun find another team to work with? Only time will tell.
