Aiming at Gen X, Cocktail has clicked with its target audience and has done a terrific job at the box office in its weekend.

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty, the film opened to a huge collection of Rs. 11 crore, on Friday. The collection went up to Rs. 12 crore on Saturday and Sunday saw a collection of Rs. 13 crore. Critics have given a thumbs up to the acting performances of all the three actors. The music of the film was a big hit even before the film released. So the total opening weekends collection was Rs. 36 crore, which is pretty good for a rom com.

Saif Ali Khan might be a happy man as he along with Dinesh Vijan jointly produced the film.
