Sherlyn Chopra to be First Indian on Playboy Cover

Sherlyn Chopra

Sherlyn Chopra is about to be crowned as the first Indian on the cover of racy magazine Playboy. And the sultry siren says she is excited and proud to bag the honour.

Currently, Sherlyn is in Los Angeles going through make-up and hair trial sessions for the photo shoot. Last week, she stayed at Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s residence and celebrated the American Independence Day on July 4 with him and other guests.

Sherlyn says liberalisation has ushered in a new age for Indian youngsters and today it is no longer considered a taboo to make unconventional choices. So, do you think stripping for Playboy is “modern” and “fashionable” for Indian youth? Please pitch in with your two cents’ worth on this latest trend.

  1. Hey why is everyone so eager to call her cheap and vulgar? Come on people havn’t you seen what all the other indian actresses are doing in movies? Every single one of them has done atleast one scene or song where they are nearly naked… Personally I think if you’ve got a hot body you should be proud to flaunt it!

  2. I think taking your clothes off for money is wrong. I am a 22 year old man. And if I was in her shoes I wouldn’t do it. We aren’t like those cheap westerners. We shouldn’t have to strip just to fit in. As desi we are brought up a certain way. And she just disgraces herself and her family by doing this.

  3. She seems desperately trying to prove someone from her past life that she is free, unachievable and has rose into fame in a very short period of time.
