Katrina Kaif has been confirmed to play the lead role in Raajneeti 2. The actress is said to be the hero in the film. Ranbir Kapoor, who was a part of Raajneeti, will not be seen in the film this time.
A superhit 2010, Prakash Jha film, the filmmaker says, “It is very challenging to take the Raajneeti story forward. Most of the main characters are dead. Two-thirds of the characters will be completely new. Katrina (Kaif) will have a central role.”
However, the Ranbir-Katrina chemistry will be missing in the second part. The film is said to take a complete spin on the Mahabharat this time.
Reason why Ranbir is not a part of the sequel is because he doesn’t want to be sidelined by his alleged ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
