‘Satyamev Jayate’ on a life changing spree.

Satyamev Jayate

Aamir Khan’s latest TV show, “Satyamev Jayate” has shaken the whole nation from her sleep. The reality show has inspired so many people across the country. The latest we hear is that in a small village in Rajasthan, a sarpanch registered a police complain against women and families who go for tests to detect and abort the girl child.

“Illegal sex determination is rampant in the Shekhawati region (Jhunjhunu, Churu and Sikar districts),” sarpanch Randheer Singh of Budania village told.

The sarpanch also said that a committee of six-members have been formed to take a closer look at women who are expecting.

“After watching Aamir Khan’s TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ on female foeticide, I felt that awareness in Rajasthan is not enough,” he said.

“Checking female foeticide at the village level is necessary to save girl children.”

He also said that almost every pregnant woman in the village is known by auxiliary nurses and midwives.

“If a woman is found involved in illegal sex determination and abortion of a girl child, an FIR (First Information Report) will be filed against her with the police,” Singh said.

“If she is forced to abort by her in-laws, similar action will be taken against them also,” he said.

  3. I do not underatand what you find about this show so “lame”. Do you think EVERYONE in India is aware of half of the problems mentioned in this show?  Sure alot of them may be aware but most of us act as if none of these problems exist. Even in the very 1st episode when almost the entire viewers believed that female foeticide are common in villages in reality its even more common among rich and educated people. How can a show thats inspiring people to act against thses crimes be a “waste of time ”? Its cool that Amir is doing something useful with all his fame and fortune instead of just making money from films and ads.
Please if you have nothing good to say dont say anything at all.

  4. Aamir khan is not bringing up issues that are unheard of! the show is lame and most def not a family show! I don’t like it… its lame! It’s a waste of time…everyone has already heard of the stuff he covers…they should have not put this on Sonytv international…& kept it on a local indian channel. Im a fan of Aamir but not of this show..i feel like Aamir has fake reactions/tears to the stories.

  6. So proud of Amair to take this action and spread the word. He is doing a very good thing which will impact India for the better.

  7. I think that knowledge is very powerful. People should be made aware that aborting female fetuses has a very long-standing result. It’s great to see a Bollywood star give back in a such a big and positive way. It’s not only men who are to blame for this. Women (mother-in-laws) are just as guilty.

  8. First eradicate dowries, improve men’s poor mentality and increase women power in India only then female foeticide will decrease
