Aishwarya Rai has been under the eyes of the fashion police from the beginning of her pregnancy days. Now, it has been four months post delivery, the actress still doesn’t seem to be interested in losing weight.
We had reported yesterday that Aishwarya attended the Dubai World Cup on Saturday, dressed in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee red kalidar. Though, she looked beautiful as ever, her post pregnancy chubbiness was still very much visible.
Ash’s fans were overwhelmed to see the actress at the event.
“I have been to Dubai before, but this is my first time to this event and it has been an absolute pleasure,” said Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
However, the online fashion were not very pleased with her chubby appearance.

I’m not a fan os Aishwariya she’s made some floppy films! However, she’s not chubby she’s just had a baby, its normal to put on a little weight, are they stupid?!? At the end of the day atleast she’s not neglecting her newborn by working out etc, she;s creating a bond with her daughter and good on her i respect her fo rthat. She’s a very pretty actress, the baby weight will come off very quickly after running around looking after her daughter so th emedia should leave her alone!

I understand the point of view of the ‘fashion police’.
Ash is not X,Y,Z. She has chosen to be an actress, a dancer…an entertainer. And it is her duty to get back to ‘normal’. She is paid for that. She sells her image and the image should be as required by the trade.
She has the right not to lose weight… in which case she should stay away from the media and look after her baby. She shouldn’t attend events just for the sake of publicity if she is not fully ready to get back to work.
Other women have babies and they lost their extra fat before coming in front of the camera : Lara, Karishma, Suzanne, Gauri, Kajol, Sonali Bendre, Raveena… They made a choice and put the required effort in…so Ash should do the same if she wants to be in the limelight.
