Set in the 18th century colonial India, the film is an epic love saga, directed by Roland Joffe. He is an English-French film director, famous for his Oscar nominated movies, The Killing Fields and The Mission.
The story of the film shows the love between an English officer, Josh Hartnett, and a Maratha warrior, Bipasha Basu.
Actor Abhay Deol also has a vital part in the film. However, he is not seen in the trailer.

FLOP film! First of all, Josh is what you consider a flop actor–he isn’t famous for his acting abilities (nor looks for that matter) This looks completely and utterly a waste of time!
